ENHANCED CLINICAL ASSESSMENT

New enCORE 2011 features help you make more-informed treatment decisions, including 10- year fracture risk assessment (FRAX). New features also allow you to obtain additional measurements without further patient repositioning, and assess the structural integrity of the hip.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY

Want to improve your day-to-day workflow efficiency? enCORE’s new features help minimize human error, automate workflows, and improve data exchange. Software is compatible with Windows 7** providing system performance and security enhancements.

Technology

Here are some of the features in enCORE 2011 that help enhance clinical assessments and improve productivity:

CLINICAL ASSESSMENT

  • FRAX: Estimates the 10-year likelihood that a patient will suffer a hip fracture or a major osteoporotic fracture of the clinical spine, forearm, hip, or shoulder
  • Supine Forearm: Performs supine-forearm scans without patient repositioning 
  • Advanced Hip Assessment (AHA): Assesses the structural integrity of the hip
  • Spine Geometry: Identifies and measures Cobb angles automatically to quantify spinal deformities
  • Pediatric reference data from the Bone Mineral Density in Childhood Study (BMDCS), sponsored by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD):  Enhances pediatric reference population data for total body, spine and femur BMD, with more than 1,500 children ages 7-17 years.
  • Pediatric Asian Reference data: Includes population data from more than 1,600 children age 5-19, acquired from two Chinese geographical regions
  • Pediatric body-mass ratios: Expands capability for growth and development analysis, including measures of muscle development and muscle-bone balance
  • Pediatric Total Body Less Head (TBLH): Acquires measurements of total-body, bone mineral density with or without inclusion of the head, with reference data for both analysis modes.
  • Pediatric Body Composition: Estimates android/gynoid ratio and view color fat mapping

PRODUCTIVITY 

  • Windows 7** and Windows XP**-compatible: Enhances performance and security of enCORE software
  • Database Export: Expands data exporting options to include tab-delimited files (i.e. Excel) 
  • Exam Status: Identifies the status of exams to help you manage workflow between operator and physician
  • Batch Output: Expands reporting capability by outputting multiple exams, whether printed or sent to DICOM
  • Previous Scan Image: Displays the image from an earlier assessment as the new image is acquired
  • Morphometry Auto-Analysis: Automatically labels vertebral deformations
  • OneScan: Performs AP Spine and DualFemur exams—with no need to reposition patients between scans
  • Compliance enhancements: Encrypts exam files and patient databases—including password protection—to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • ScanCheck: Automatically identifies potential acquisition and analysis errors
