Overview

By the end of this program, the participant should be able to:

  • Demonstrate how contrast resolving power is used to differentiate one area of anatomy from another in order to determine pathology.
  • Define the five contrast intrinsic tissue parameters.
  • Explain how to utilize different pulse sequences to heighten sensitivity in order to develop a diagnosis.
  • Indicate that temporal resolving power is the time domain and how quickly data is being acquired.
  • Examine perfusion and fMRI scanning techniques.
