By the end of this program, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the fundamental principles of image formation chest x-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac catheterization, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic medical sonography.
- Discuss the information, with regard to cardiac imaging, that each imaging modality provides.
- Describe common congenital cardiac anomalies.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of congenital vs. acquired heart disease.
