The ventilator Delivery training session is designed to give participants the information and product knowledge needed to proficiently operate ventilator Delivery system for critically ill patients in ICU. The training session will use discussion, as well as extensive hands-on practice to teach the course objectives as they apply to the specific care area. This course is designed to give participants the information and product knowledge needed to proficiently operate the ventilator delivery system. At the completion of this course, the learner will be able to: Connect ventilator hoses Air and O2, and then connect the power cord. Turn the main button of the ventilator ON. Select the kind of humidification the patient is on (HME or active humidifier). Follow the steps of the self-test of the ventilator. Access the patient demographic page and enter all patient data (ID, Gender, Age and weight). Select the appropriate mode according to the doctor’s order.
